Born and raised 30 minutes outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Ryan Bretzel came to the Twin Cities in 2001 in pursuit of a degree from the University of Minnesota. While in college he met his wife, Emily, and fell in love with her and the Twin Cities. Since getting married in 2006, Ryan and Emily now have a son, Archer, a daughter, Laine, and they just welcomed their brand-new baby girl, Vienna, on 11/21/17.

During college Ryan got a degree in plant genetics and worked on oats and medicago truncatula, a model plant for soybean, but his passion for homes was always there.

Throughout his life, Ryan has gained experience through jobs such as machining, welding, and concrete work. Ryan’s father is a carpenter; therefore, construction has been around him all his life. Ryan decided that his knowledge in construction and his social personality, would make becoming a Real Estate Consultant a great fit for him. Now he is working in a career he loves, helping people like you, find the home of their dreams.

Areas of Expertise

Ryan Bretzel began his career with Keller Williams Realty in 2006 and has been successful because he focuses on helping his clients determine their goals and helps them put together a game plan to reach those goals. He has experience helping clients find homes priced less than $50,000 and more than $500,000. He helps clients anywhere from St. Cloud to Osceola WI; however, he generally focuses on the Twin Cities Metro area and Western Wisconsin.

Ryan studies the market constantly by keeping in touch with market trends, lending practices and evaluating home structures. His expertise for evaluating home structures stems from a vast array of experiences as a wood worker, welder, machinist and concrete worker, all of which have helped his clients with decision making.

Communication is key which is why he vows to continuously keep in contact with his clients and provide valuable information to help them build their wealth. He knows that even though he handles transactions on a daily basis; his clients may only buy or sell a home a few times in their lifetime. Ryan takes the extra time and care to educate them about their decisions. Ryan’s goal is to do such an outstanding job that his clients will not hesitate to refer their friends and family to him!
